If you or someone else is in danger right now, call your local emergency number: 999 in the UK, 911 in the US and Canada.
If you are under 18
DM Tools is for people aged 13 or over. Most games here are with people you know. But you might meet someone you do not know, so keep these in mind.
- Keep your details to yourself. Do not share your real name, school, address or phone number.
- You can leave at any time. Your campaigns page has a Leave button. You do not have to explain.
- Only join games you trust. An invite link can be passed around, so check who sent it.
- Be careful about moving to other apps. If someone you do not know asks to chat somewhere private, or asks for pictures, say no and tell an adult you trust.
- Nothing is your fault. If something upsets you, it is OK to tell someone.
How to report something
- In a room, open the Menu at the top right and choose Report.
- Pick the picture or player, and say what happened.
- Press Send. We do not tell them it was you.
Not in a room? Use the report page. You can also appeal or complain if you think we got something wrong.
What we know about you
We only keep what we need to run the site: your email address, the name you pick, what you make here, and a record of when you sign in and from which internet address. People in your campaigns can see your name and what the campaign shows them. We do not show you adverts, sell your information, track you around the web, or use your location. You can see what we hold, or delete your account, at any time. The Privacy Policy has the details.
Talk to someone
In the UK:
- Childline: call free on 0800 1111, any time. It is confidential.
- CEOP: if an adult is making you feel unsafe online, you can report them to specially trained police.
- Report Remove: if a sexual image of you is online, Childline and the Internet Watch Foundation can help get it taken down. Search for "Report Remove" on the Childline website.
In the US:
- 988 Lifeline: call or text 988, any time, if you are struggling or in crisis.
- CyberTipline: report online sexual exploitation of a child, or call 1-800-843-5678.

In Canada:

- 9-8-8: call or text 988, any time, if you are struggling or in crisis.
- Cybertip.ca: report online sexual exploitation of a child.
Somewhere else? Your local police or a children's helpline can help.
If you are a parent or guardian
DM Tools is a set of tools for tabletop role-playing games. In Dungeons, a host runs a shared 3D map for the people they invite.
- Who your child can meet. Anyone with a campaign's invite link can join it, up to 20 people. There are no public rooms.
- What they can see. Paying hosts can upload pictures for their tokens and maps, and the people in that campaign can see them. Names are chosen by users. We do not check uploads first, but our rules ban pornography, gore and anything illegal.
- How people talk. There is no chat, messaging or voice on DM Tools. Most groups talk on another app, such as Discord, and that app's rules and settings apply there.
- Age. The minimum age is 13. We do not check ages with ID, so please talk to your child about what they use. If you know a child under 13 has an account, tell us and we will close it.
- Paying. Under 18s need your permission before subscribing.
- Private images. If someone shares an intimate image of your child, choose "A child is at risk" on the report page. We hide it at once.
You can report something without an account. How we handle reports explains what happens next.
